NLBC has been established as a virtual college to address the challenges of workforce training and skills in the sector, combining strong links to specialist colleges and universities, while being employer-driven. NLBC will develop collaborations and partnerships across the sector, and maximise the use of learning technologies and blended learning to aid skills development.
NLBC will strengthen the sector, building resilience, and supporting associated industries by ensuring that the current and future workforce has access to the best possible skills development opportunities in a co-ordinated manner.
NLBC has a core team of four based at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire. We work closely with our partners Landex and City & Guilds, staff at our member colleges and universities, and land based industries to achieve our objectives. We have a board of 16 Directors.
