Longshaw Estate

Longshaw Estate has 688ha of open moorland, woodland and farms. It boasts dramatic views and varied walking. stone for the Derwent and Howden dams was quarried from Bolehill, and millstones may be seen in the quarries on the estate, as well as a quarry winding-house, above Grindleford station. The Duke of Rutland’s former shooting lodge is not open.
