Clifton Bury Farm

The site is typical of East Bedfordshire, being fairly flat, with sandy soil, it benefits from the Ival Navigation Canal running alongside. It was at one time part of the adjoining estate, now owned by the Whitbread family and previously by Adminral Byng, a 19th century historical figure. The land has for a long period been used for growing vegetable crops, which is its current use. For a period in the 1950's it was stocked with sheep, to improve the fertility.
