Great Carnbargus Farm

Great Carnbargus Farm

Great Carnbargus Farm sits on the slopes of Perrancombe Valley. It is a firmly run farm, with small pastures divided by Cornish hedges as shown on the 1837 title map. Old mine tracks and croft land with mineshaft can be seen. There is good hunting and nesting ground for a variety of declining birds, bats, invertebrates and butterflies. The area provides an attractive and interesting setting for field study, observing or helping with conservation programmes; or taking time for playing, sitting, looking and listening.
