Trerieve is a 38ha mixed farm (organic since 2001) on the top of the coastal cliffs of Downderry. It carries a suckler herd of 40 cows and 300 breeding ewes. Organic crops of barley, potatoes and field vegetables are rotated round the arable fields. The small orchard is planted with native cornish apples. A small new hilltop pond now attracts swallows, bats, dragonflies and damselflies, frogs, toads and a myriad of other wildlife. The farm is linked via a permissive access path to the Seaton Valley Countryside Park and Downderry. This path gives magnificent views of Looe Bay and St George's Island to the west, Rame Head to the east and Caradon Hill to the north.
