Tissington Estate Parkland

Tissington Estate Parkland

The land is owned by the Tissington Estate and let to a local farmer. It has ridge and furrow as a feature and has had grazing animals on it for some years. Also included are some small areas of woodland. It would make a particularly interesting visit for children, who can see things from an Estates point of view, as well as a tenant farmer and the area has plenty of history to interest the pupils. There are no farm buildings on this site, although a visit may be possible on one of the Estate
