Northney Farm

Northney Farm

Northney is a large, mixed farm on the north-east corner of Hayling Island, adjoining the Chichester Harbour AONB and with a SSSI on the adjoining coastal land. The Stewardship land includes grazed coastal marsh.

Northney Farm welcomes pre-arranged visits from schools and have strong links with schools on Hayling, in Havant and across the surrounding districts of East Hampshire and West Sussex . The farm also welcomes visits from adult and youth organisations wishing to learn more about the work of the farm. In the past the farm has played host to the WI, Brownies and the Scouts.

There are many ways in which the farm can provide the basis for educational study. It may be to do with the environment, geography, local history, conservation, nature, food cycles, how UK and EU farming controls and regulations impact on farming.
