Newnham Hill

Newnham Hill

A disused mill (in total ruin) has recently been restored as an observation tower.  A circular walk continues around the site and past the mill. Fair views are visible from the summit of the hill. The whole site is farmed on a non-intensive basis. This has increased the presence of birds and mammals, several species of owls, woodpackers, warblers and finches are regularly observed, as well as badgers, muntjac deer, stoats and weasels.
