Lewstone Farm

Lewstone is a 240 acre traditional family farm located in the Wye Valley in Herefordshire. We produce free-range eggs, keep sheep and cattle and grow cereals and other crops. Our woodland, stream, hedgerows, grassland and wetlands provide an ideal range of habitats for Primary School Environmental Studies. The lovely farm location, with its unspoilt traditional buildings, gives opportunities for learning history, creative writing and art. We have been hosting visits for three years and we are happy to show teachers round to discuss their requirements. Ann Herbert's family have been farming at Lewstone for 4 generations.and she has a CEVAS qualification. Husband Jim teaches biology part- time at John Kyrle High School in Ross-on-Wye and is keen to cover curricular aspects.
