Blacklake Farm

Blacklake Farm

Blacklake Farm totals 70 acres of ancient pasture, traditional breeds of sheep and cattle, old apple orchards, cob farmhouse, and listed farm buildings, such as the cider barn complete with its original cider press.

The farm was nominated this year for DEFRA's conservation management award. It is also part of the Soil Association's demonstration farms network. We cater for school visits for all ages from Reception to 6th Form.

The farm offers an excellent scale for pupil interaction and gives many opportunities for diverse curriculum learning in Science, History, Geography, Citizenship, Art, and English language.
