Toppin Castle Farm

Toppin Castle, situated in the Eden Valley is a dairy, beef, sheep and arable farm extending to 200ha. It has been farmed by the Irving family for over 40 years; the Grade II listed farmhouse imitates a tower house, but was built in the mid 19th century . When visiting the farm you will be able to see a modern farm incorporating old practices, eg. hedging and tree planting. As well as the farm there are several areas of land that have been fenced off to encourage the natural habitats, including woodland, wetland and grassland.
