Brownbread Horse Rescue Centre has been in operation for over 50 years. The site comprises mainly of pasture in small paddocks, mostly hedged and including mature oaks. Water features include a small stream that runs most of the year, three ponds, a windmill and pool. It has one of the highest numbers of flora & fauna species for any Wealden meadow farm.

Camping available and venue available for corporate or private hire. Off road parking for 100 cars/vehicles. Group bookings including a talk , tea and cakes and conducted tour £5 per head. This could include croquet/bowls on the lawn. Otherwise, visitors welcome by prior arrangement.

As above, £5. per head for a group visit.
The 50 acres provide a variety of habitats that include a stream, ponds and bog and small mature wood. As the farm does not use artificial fertilizers, insecticides or weed-killers there are a vast number of species of both plant and animal life. This site is ideal for Biological studies and the resident biologist could produce an appropriate worksheet. Any fee is negotiable.
