Holywell Farm

Holywell Farm

Holywell Farm is an all grass holding within a predominantly intensive arable area. The River Meese and the mill-stream to Caynton Mill run through it, creating a weir and low-lying island, where an otter holt has been constructed. The variety of wildlife habitats include a network of old established and recently planted hedgerows, with retained mature trees and old coppiced shrubs. There are small woodland areas and wildlife corridors and the grassland includes both low-input hay meadow and permanent pasture, grazed by various animals.
