Stowe, with its great house and gardens, is one of the supreme creations of the Georgian era and considered among the most important landscape gardens in the world. The garden, of some 202ha, 32 Greek and Roman inspired buildings and temples, lakes and over 3 miles of ha-ha, has links with Capability Brown, Bridgeman, Kent and Vanbrugh.
