A 1/2-mile long grass terrace and adjoining woodland with vistas over Rievaulx Abbey (English Heritage) and Rye Valley to Ryedale and the Hambleton Hills. Abundance of wild spring flowers. There are two eighteenth-century temples: the Ionic Temple, intended as a banqueting house, contains brightly coloured frescoes, fine eighteenth-century furniture and an exhibition.
