Dorset Wildlife Trust

The DWT was founded in 1961 to protect the wild life and natural habitats of the county. Our founders' efforts to conserve the unspoilt beauty of the county attracted wide ranging support. The Dorset Wildlife Trust has 36 nature reserves situated across Dorset, nature reserves that represent all of the major habitat types found within the county. Our nature reserves offer wonderful opportunities for the study of wildlife, nature and natural processes.
