The Lake District Visitor Centre is situated on the eastern shore of Windermere. The Centre is the base for the Lake District National Park's education service which the FSC manages on behalf of the LDNP. It is an ideal location for an enjoyable educational visit, accessible to all visitors, with a modern Visitor Centre, extensive grounds and a range of self-programmed activities. Visits to the Lake District Visitor Centre are free to School Groups. Advance booking is essential.
