Luddesdown Organic Farm is in the village of Luddsedown, near Cobham. The farm is situated on the North Downs and has recently converted to an organic system of farming to Soil Association standards. The farm is run on a rotation system with a further 50 acres (20.24 hectares) containing 10 acre plots that have 5 different stockless rotations. Composting of manure and green waste brought onto the farm is carried out. Livestock consists of a 90-cow, mainly Hereford X Friesian, single-suckler herd that live in family groups, where each cow rears one calf a year. Ten acres (4ha) of field vegetables are grown. It is an historic site with the church, building and two sites of antiquity.
