This is a traditional mixed farm with arable and livestock enterprises, bordered by the sea out to the south and by woodland to the north and west. Approximately half the land is low-lying flat land and can be subject to water-logging which is a problem in the arable areas. Some arable areas are being re-seeded with grass. The rest of the land comprises fairly steep hillsides. The steepness and small field size make most of this unsuitable for arable cropping and most of this land is old pasture.
