Swansea Community Farm

Swansea Community Farm offers a wide variety of Education Programmes for all ages.
Since 2006 we have developed a reputation for one of the leading outdoor education venues in the Swansea region. Our purpose built and fully accessible site is an ideal venue for outdoor learning and can accommodate a wide range of ages and abilities.
Our Education programmes aim to provide structured education visits to the Farm, based around sustainable issues such as food, farming, composting, energy, sustainable building and arts & crafts. Programmes include: Food and Farming (half and full day visits); Turn with the Worm (full day visit); Hands-on! Animal Tour; Animal Magic; Incubation Project; 14-19 Network (Agored Cymru Entry Level); and New for 2014 - Farm Habitats and Biodiversity Programme. There's so much to do, why not come and join us!!
Half day visit to include Animal Tour and "Turn with the Worm" composting session, suitable for Foundation phase, KS1, KS2. Full day visit, as above plus waste free lunch activity, "Soil Sinks" (in the woods) and "The Needs of Seeds" (what do plants need?). Suitable for older KS1 & KS2 (ages 8 up approximately).
