This is a mixed livestock and arable farm, growing wheat, barley, lupins and beans. A large area of the site is grazed and there are also permanent pasture, temporary pasture and woodland areas. There are many old established hedges, running alongside 6m and 2m field margins managed to promote flora development. Arable stubble is also managed to encourage birds (eg. Cirl bunting). The sheep flock is mainly Poll Dorsets and lambing takes place from November to January.
