National Trust’s Brancaster Activity Centre was refurbished in 2015 and on 2018 are celebrating 20 years of operation as a residential activity centre for school groups. Located in the picturesque harbour of Brancaster Staithe on the North Norfolk Coast it is easy to reach and has stunning sea views, especially from the teachers ‘snug room’ upstairs. We provide a host of exciting coastal activities for children to enjoy during their stay , whether that’s a week or half week, it will be packed full of adventure. Beautiful Brancaster Beach is within walking distance, you can step out of the Centre and into a kayak to explore winding creeks at high tide, and at low tide our most popular activity is a coastal safari - a fun filled muddy adventure across the saltmarsh that children love. See our website www.nationaltrust.org.uk/brancaster for our schools brochure showing a full list of activities to enjoy, including orienteering, cycling, sailing, as well as the chance to explore our Roman past and more. The Centre offers sole occupancy for 41 children plus adults and en-suite facilities which makes a more comfortable stay for everyone. We are Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge accredited so you can feel confident in us, when we hope you choose to visit. We provide home cooked meals and high quality leadership on activities. Our prices are competitive and we also have a bursary scheme available to assist towards the cost of a trip, for families who are not in a position to fund a full visit for their child.
