Alcombe Common

Alcombe common is a large area of open heathland, which has been cleared over the centuries. Previously used for grazing, it is now a natural habitat and recreational area. It is largely used by locals and for educational purposes. It is sited in a beautiful rural location, close to the seaside town of Minehead. Part of the Exmoor National Park's Local Biodiversity Action Plan (LBAP).
