Brook Farms is a family run farm. Combinable crops such as wheat, barley, oil seed rape and beans are grown in arable rotation. There is a pig fattening unit on the farm and a small breeding flock of Texel pedigree sheep. The wildlife and landscape on the farm are protected through the Entry & Higher Level Stewardship Schemes. Features on the farm are species rich hedges, buffer strips around fields, species rich grassland, woodland and specialist conservation areas. Lots of farmland birds can be seen on the farm for example, yellowhammer, linnet, grey partridge & song thrush.
