Church Lane Farm

Situated in the heart of the Peak District National Park, this mixed dairy and beef farm has been in the same family since the early 1900s. The farm has a small retail outlet where milk is sold directly to customers and a pedigree herd of Charolais beef cattle; these impressive animals are always popular with visitors. Wildlife is important on the farm which has many different habitats including ponds, traditional hay meadows, dry stone walls, old leadrakes and a limestone dale rich in wild flowers. Some of the ponds are home to the internationally protected Great Crested Newt.
