Agden Green Farm

Agden Green Farm

The holding at Agden Green Farm has been farmed by three generations of the Mumford family since the 1920’s. The current holding of 619 acres is an amalgamation of Corner Farm, Agden Hill Farm, and part of Gaynes Hall Estate.

The farm offers a range of habitats for study including a variety of farmland ponds, some of which are set in botanically rich grassland.

The holding is adjacent to SSSI ancient woodland, for which the wider Grafham Water area is a county stronghold.

Shoreline grassland forming part of Grafham Water SSSI offers an appropriate setting from which to consider the wetland birds for which it is nationally important.
