Hunters Hill Technology College

We are a new school farm at a special school for 11-16 year olds just outside Birmingham. We have pigs, sheep, ponies, poultry and a range of small animals and reptiles on site. We are reinstating our garden and orchard. We also run forest school and outdoor education with our students, and are renovating a fully-equipped campsite which is on site (previously a BCC Outdoor Ed Centre). Our students have social, emotional and mental health needs so we are particularly used to offering bespoke therapeutic sessions for small groups of vulnerable learners. We are a residential school so may also be able to accommodate overnight stays, either camping or in our Victorian residential home. We can also consider requests for the school holidays and weekends, as our students are resident Monday-Thursday term-time only.
