Farmer Gow's

Farmer Gow's is 'hands on' with farm animals - sheep, goats, pigs, cattle, chickens, ducks geese and turkeys. The farm specialises in school and group trips. Excellent new 'lazer' washroom facilities, built summer 2014, specifically to support visiting school trips. The farm is an easy coach, minibus or car drive - it's on the B4508, 2 miles from the A420 (Oxford-Swindon) near Faringdon. Bespoke programme for each class visiting the school including Meet the Animals (bottle and hand fed lambs and goat kids, wriggly piglets, cattle patting), Meet the Fowl (chickens - including egg collecting, ducks, geese and turkeys), trailer ride around the farm (including feeding the pigs) and chick handling. Farm visit service available if you would like Farmer Gow's to visit your school/establishment.

The farm staff organise and run all the 'hands on' farm animal experiences, with school teachers/supervising adults supporting the children's learning. The children arrive noisy and excited - and go back to school much quieter but with very big smiles on their faces - they learn and experience a huge amount.

£6.50/person (adult and child) - which represents a 30% discount off general entry prices for adults and a 25% discount off child entry prices.
