Royal Horticultural Society Campaign for School Gardening

I Can Grow is a new, exciting project from the RHS (Royal Horticultural Society) offering young people the chance to discover the power of plants and their benefits to them, the community and the wider world.

This project will empower young people, allowing them to create a campaign to shout about environmental and social issues they believe in, linking to one or more of the following themes:

  • Wildlife
  • Climate Change
  • Food production
  • Wellbeing

Summer is a good time to review your garden area, or plan something new, with inspiration from I Can Grow. First you need to sign up for a free inspiration pack which will contain a project guide and great resources to get your class or group thinking about, and eventually sharing, their campaign.

The project is designed to be led by your young people as much as possible so, using the resources, encourage them to think how they could use plants to solve a problem or support a cause that means something to them.
