Howbarrow is a 6-hectare, organic smallholding on the southern fells of Cumbria. It is licenced with the Soil Association and is a member of the Organic Farms Network. The range of organic enterprises includes sheep, poultry and beef. It also specialises in growing high value salad crops and medicinal herbs. Ongoing environmental projects include extensive dry stone wall rebuilding, pond creation and hedge and tree planting. Maximum group size 15, access for minibus/car only.
