Many events hosted by agricultural societies around the country have special provision for schools, children and learning, ensuring there is always plenty to do and see.

The Royal Welsh Spring Event, for example, offered dressing up in a bee suit and learning from the professionals about the life of these most treasured creatures. Children were also able to learn from their slightly older peers as the Young Farmers demonstrated the hands-on 'milk-the-cow' model udder. They also discovered, in the young animal handling classes, that  sheep really have got minds of their own!

Learning on the day is consolidated with workshops to follow up this inspirational event.
