Fancy meeting some very enterprising young people?  School Food Matters has a whole series of market days around London in July so do come along and buy some freshly grown veg, some chutneys and sauces from a team of young chefs and food growers



Young Marketeers Summer Sale – Thursday 4 July 
8 Southwark St, London SE1 1TL

12 primary schools are selling school-grown veg at Borough Market to raise money for FareShare  


Young Marketeers at East Street Market– Tuesday 9 July

East Street Market, London SE17 1EL

One secondary and two primary schools from Southwark are selling school-grown veg at East Street Market, Walworth  


Schools to Market – Wednesday 10 July

Whole Foods Market stores: Richmond, High St Kensington, Fulham, Clapham Junction, Camden, Piccadilly Circus, Stoke Newington

Three secondary and 13 primary schools are selling chutneys at their local Whole Foods Market store  


Know your Onions - Market Day – Thursday 11 July

Street markets: Inverness Street Market NW1 7HB, Croydon Clocktower CR0 1NX, Enfield Market EN2 6NL, Ridley Road Market, E8 2NP, Walthamstow Market E17 7JX

Students from 15 secondary schools are selling school-grown veg at their local street market, across five London boroughs
