Countryside Classroom

Inspiring the next generation of global citizens

Countryside Classroom are delighted to welcome a new partner Earth Cubs , an organisation passionate about supporting teachers and parents to positively prepare primary school aged children for a sustainable future.

Their vibrant environmental learning platform provides support and curriculum aligned tools on a range of topics, delivered through positive storytelling, planet-saving gaming, and action-based learning about sustainability, the environment, climate change, equality and much more!

  • Launching on Countryside classroom today is Earth Cubs Global Goals Assembly Pack, use the fun Earth Cubs characters to bring the Sustainable Development Goals to life.
  • Also launching today is B is Banana, find out where bananas are grown, help children act out their journey and discover why choosing Fairtrade bananas can make a difference to a banana farmer's life.
  • In addition why not use this colourful Where does coffee come from? resource to explain to early years and key stage 1 what parts of the world coffee can be grown in and how it is produced.

The resources come highly recommended by our Teachers Advisory Panel, they said ...

"the use of familiar characters is great for early years and key stage 1 students, the characters are also well designed to broaden knowledge of different animals".

The panel went on to say ...

" The packs will save teachers a lot of planning time" ... "are bright and colourful and very appealing for children."

Watch out for more Earth Cubs resources launching here soon.
