Countryside Classroom Hits the Stage at New Scientist Live

Countryside Calssroom

We’re thrilled to announce that Countryside Classroom, alongside several of our valued partner organisations, will be taking part in New Scientist Live 2025 at ExCeL London from 18–20 October.

This is a fantastic opportunity for us to bring our mission into the spotlight: showing teachers, students, and the wider public how food, farming and the natural environment intersect with cutting-edge science and innovation.

What to Expect

  • We’ll be engaging with visitors at interactive exhibits and demonstrations on the show floor, joining over 90 hands-on experiences.
  • Our partner organisations will also be presenting their work, sharing valuable insights and resources that support classroom learning and inspire future generations of environmental stewards.
  • With the event running alongside a dedicated Schools’ Day on Monday 20 October — packed with talks, workshops and exhibits tailored for students and educators  — we anticipate a rich exchange of ideas and enthusiasm.

Why We’re Excited

Participation in New Scientist Live allows us to:

  • Showcase the innovation, science and sustainability at the heart of modern agriculture and environmental education.
  • Connect face-to-face with teachers and learners, offering inspiration and resources they can bring back to their schools and communities.
  • Strengthen our collaborations and raise awareness of the vital role our partner organisations play in linking classroom learning with real-world ecosystems.

We hope to see many of you there — whether you’re an educator, student, parent, or simply curious about the science behind the countryside and food systems. Keep an eye on our social media and website for updates on where you can find us at the event and which partner projects will be featured.
