The Greenmount College nature trail was established in 1979 to provide a better understanding of farming and the countryside. It is used as an educational resource for Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils and attracts over 6,000 visitors per year. The free field teaching experience is provided by a new RSPB/Greenmount College partnership, which offers the opportunity to investigate a variety of farmland habitats and their wildlife.
