Stonehurst is a working farm with arable, grassland, cattle, sheep, pigs and egg production. There are nature studies, pond dipping, farm walks and ‘hands on’ opportunities with the smaller animals. An educational tour is available from the farmers, which includes a tractor ride. With all weather facilities, an indoor picnic barn, play area and schoolroom (including a farm resources video and Teachers’ pack) this is a great place for school visits.
