Pocket Park Reach

The fields next to Reach lode, are both permanent grassland used for sheep grazing. The southern-most field is very old grassland and is bordered by hedges that date back at least 100 years. The northern field contains a large lake created in 1990, when hay was extracted to repair the lode banks. There are thriving populations of a wide range of bird species.
