This farm consists of 70 hectares of arable farmland, bounded to the city of St Albans northern limits by an ancient woodland strip, (County Wildlife Site). Surrounding the farmhouse are hedged pastures and a restored orchard and within this area is a large pond and many hedgerows. The environmental resources centre has been restored to use as a classroom.
