Godmersham Park

Godmersham Park

Godmersham Park comprises areas of closely grazed and ungrazed downland. The closely grazed hill rises to 500' and is set in historic parkland which offers panoramic views, ancient earthworks, and the Kentish milkwort is found growing (red data book species). The ungrazed downland, home to the endangered black veined moth, is largely covered in tor grass. Efforts are made to stop scrub encroachment.
