Hill Farm (Steventon)

Hill Farm (Steventon)

This mixed farm of about 800 acres produces beef and arable crops. Beef cattle breeds such as Aberdeen Angus, Belgian Blue and Hereford can be seen. Arable crops, including wheat, barley, maize and grass with all associated equipment, machinery are to be viewed and explained. Under the Countryside Stewardship Scheme beetle banks have been developed, new hedgerows planted and permissive paths created. Great views of the Thames valley, Oxford and surrounding villages can be seen from the high ground with the meandering Ginge brook to the lower. Farm tours can be from a specially built tractor towed trailer.
