Linstead Farm is an arable farm growing wheat, rape and field beans. Of the 243 acres nearly 43 are not cropped, but consist of 15 acres of grass meadows, small woods and ponds all linked by grass margins around the field and over 7 miles of hedgerows chiefly of hawthorn and blackthorn with standard trees at intervals - oak, ash, field maple. There are wildflowers, grass snakes, hedgehogs, large coy carp (up to 3 kilos), butterflies and dragonflies.
