Low Farm offers easy public access as it is on the perimeter of the popular seaside destination of Robin Hoods Bay. The farm consists of 48 hectares of rented land and 14.5 hectares owned by the Hodgson family, who farm the site. 55 hectares are of grassland and the rest has cereal grown for consumption by the farm's cattle. There is 130 head of cattle, made up of 30 suckler cows and their followers and 30-40 bought in calves, and also a flock of some 80 mule and Masham ewes. Wildlife is encouraged through leaving margins and lower stocking densities.
