South Penquite

South Penquite

South Penquite is a 80 hectare working hill farm situated high on Bodmin Moor between the villages of Blisland and St Breward. We are a demonstration holding for both the Soil Association and the Westcountry Rivers Trust, and as well as offering camping & four Mongolian Yurts we have facilities for field studies and opportunities for educational groups and schools to learn about local environment.

There is much to do and see on and around the farm which achieved organic status in 2001. As well as running a flock of 300 ewes and a herd of 40 cows the farm is exceptionally rich in archaeological remains and wildlife.
