Magdalen Farm

Magdalen Farm

Magdalen Farm is set in glorious open countryside on the Dorset/Somerset border. The 52 hectares of Magdalen's fields, woods and pastures provide a unique resource for adventure and discovery.
Our working farm with its diverse landscape, hand-reared animals and purpose-built residential centre provides the perfect environment to connect with nature and learn from sustainable living. We offer school day-trips and residential education programmes for primary and secondary schools and care farming experiences for children and adults with learning disabilities and/or challenging social backgrounds. Our specialist team of qualified teaching and care staff encourage both children and adults to learn new skills, benefit from therapeutic experiences and develop a deeper understanding of the countryside. Whether a visit to Magdalen is for a day-trip or a little longer - the memories will last a lifetime. We offer high quality accommodation and own home cooked organic food and you’ll find all the ingredients for the complete visit - which is always tailored to your specific needs. For the best in environmental education, care farming and accommodation - please explore our site, see the picture gallery and contact us with any questions.
