Warleigh Lodge Farm

Warleigh Lodge Farm

Warleigh Lodge Farm is located in the Cotswold AONB on the south-eastern outskirts of the city of Bath. Located at the bottom and lower slopes of the steeply sided valley of the Avon, the farm contains a variety of habitats due to the differing geological features of the area and the mixed arable/livestock farming system practiced there. The history of communications in the area from the ancient wansdyke to the modern road system can be seen on or from the farm. It is a 200-acre, family run farm, growing cereals and rearing sheep and cattle. The farm is available to promote the use, enjoyment and study of the countryside and offers excellent oportunities for studying various subjects within the National Curriculum.
