Beacon Hill Country Park

Park with 180 acres of undulating heathland, bracken, woods and rhododendrons. Beacon Hill, the rocky summit, affords superb views over Loughborough. The remains of a Bronze Age settlement can be seen near the car park below the summit. There is also a newly-developing native tree collection. Permissive walks around adjoining farmland, there is a guided walks programme and there are bookable barbecue sites.
