The gardens at Kew cover over 300 acres with 39 listed buildings, including three of the world's greatest glasshouses. Besides the exotic tropical collections on site, Kew holds the world's most comprehensive collection of preserved plant speciments, plant products used by humans, as well as botanical books, paintings, drawings and literature.
