A beautiful and intimate 18th century landscape garden, created by local entrepreneur Ralph Allen with advice from the poet Alexander Pope and 'Capability' Brown, and set in a sweeping valley with magnificent views of the City of Bath. The many interesting features include a Palladian bridge and three lakes. The restoration of the garden is continuing. Prior Park College, a co-educational school, operates from the mansion.
