Extensive gardens administered by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, with a series of lakes and ponds surrounded by an important collection of exotic trees, plants and shrubs. There is also a heath garden and rock walk. Part of the ground floor of the mansion is open to visitors and has displays and exhibitions of natural history and about the garden itself.
