Ancient Technology Centre

This inspiring educational Centre comprises numerous reconstructed buildings from throughout history. They have been built with the help of more than 80,000 Dorset school students and older volunteers. The Ancient Technology Centre (ATC) has been at the forefront of experiential archaeology for over fifteen years. Using a combination of ancient skills and archaeological evidence, visitors to the Centre take part in a range of projects that reflect ancient life. The emphasis is on "hands on learning" that directly contributes to the life of the Centre.
